This recipe is so simple you will never buy a boxed beer bread mix again! This is a very hearty bread with a crunchy, buttery crust. It will become a family favorite.
NOTE: You must sift the flour in order for the bread to get the right texture.Enjoy!
Beer Bread Ingredients:· 3 cups flour sifted (must be sifted!)· 3 tsp baking powder· 1 tsp Spice & Tea Co. Pacific Blue kosher sea salt (orHimalayan Pink salt)· ¼ cup sugar (for a fun variation, try our green chile, or sweet onion sugar!)· 12 oz of beer (I like to use Stillwater Lift Bridge Farm Girl)· ½ cup melted butter
Mix dry ingredients with the beer just until blended. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Pour the ½ cup melted butter over the top and bake 1 hour at 375. Take out of pan and rest on rack 15 min.
Cheddar Garlic Spread Ingredients:· 1 8oz pkg of cream cheese· ½ cup butter· 1 to 2 tsp Spice & Tea Co. Toasted Minced Garlic· 1 to 2 tsp Spice & Tea Co. Cheddar Herb Spice
Blend softened cream cheese and butter together with a whisk until fluffy. Stir in minced garlic and Cheddar HerbSpice.
(For a dip variation, try it with2 to 3 tsp of our Tomato Basil Chipotle Rub, or our AJ’s Monkey Spice instead of the Cheddar Potato Spice with or without the garlic!).
