Ingredients: 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (almond, coconut, cow’s) 1 tsp turmeric paste ½ – 1 tsp Ceylon Cinnamon 1 – 2 tsp raw honey 1/4 tsp ginger (optional) 1-3 tsp of coconut oil A pinch of Himalayan pink salt
Directions: Heat the milk, mix in the spices, raw honey, stir in the coconut oil and enjoy. Just don’t heat the milk too warm or it will kill the raw honey benefits. Golden Turmeric Paste Prepare a golden yellow turmeric paste by adding a 1/4 cup of turmeric powder to 2/3 cup of pure water, add 1 tsp of fresh ground black pepper and boil in a saucepan until a thick paste is formed (5 – 8 minutes). Transfer to a small Mason jar. This paste may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
